Our research team is increasingly interested in the range of traumatic and stressful life events that can be experienced on college campuses. We have recently launched a study assessing the relationships between discrimination experiences and emotional well-being among Muslim American students. Additionally, in collaboration with Dr. Kate Walsh and her team at Yeshiva University, we are developing a longitudinal study of college sexual experiences and mental health. Previously, Dr. Lowe was the Project Coordinator of a study investigating the ways in which stressful and traumatic events could influence one's sense of being an adult, versus a child or adolescent.
